The graphics on the digital cluster change with the selected drive mode (NORMAL, ECO, or SPORT). The 12.3" version in the Limited & Lounge also displays a real time view of the drivers blind-spot when indicating.

The optimally placed infotainment touchscreen gives you easy access to multimedia and connectivity features. The standard unit is an 8" system whilst the Limited model utilises a larger 10.25" unit with satellite navigation.

The new STARIA features Hyundai SmartSense – our suite of advanced driver assistance systems designed to keep you and your business running.
The STARIA has been awarded the maximum 5 star safety rating by ANCAP, Australasia’s independent voice on vehicle safety. The STARIA scored well across all areas of assessment, with full points awarded in the side impact test for both adult and child occupants and for the driver in both the full-width frontal and mobile progressive deformable barrier (MPDB) tests. It provides a comprehensive set of safety features, offering head and chest-protecting airbags, a centre airbag, Forward Collision Avoidance (FCA), and a lane support system (LSS) as standard.
Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist
The Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance-Assist system uses radar sensors in the rear bumper to detect if a vehicle is in your blind spot. When BCA activates, it will sound an alert and assists braking to prevent a collision.
Forward Collision Avoidance Assist
Turning into oncoming traffic at a road junction is made safer with the FCA front camera/radar system. As soon as your indicator is turned on, the system detects any oncoming obstacles such as vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians and alerts you to take extra care. If danger is imminent, it applies emergency braking to avoid an impact.
Lane Following Assist
The STARIA features Lane Following Assist (LFA). When activated, it keeps the car centred in its lane at speeds between 0 and 180 km/h on motorways and city streets.
Forward Collision Avoidance
The Forward Collision Avoidance system automatically brakes when it detects sudden braking by the car ahead or detects pedestrians or cyclists in your path.
Smart Cruise Control
Smart Cruise Control helps the driver maintain a safe speed on the highway. Also included is Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA).
Available in Hybrid or Diesel
Hybrid
Developed to reduce fuel consumption without compromising on being fun to drive, the hybrid powertrain delivers a combined power output of 180 kW with 367 Nm of torque.
The beauty of a hybrid powertrain is that this strong performance doesn't come at the expense of efficiency with impressive fuel consumption.
Diesel
The tried and proven 2.2L 'R-Series' turbo-diesel engine offers 130 kW of power combined with a 430 Nm of torque.
With so much torque, the STARIA diesel makes easy work of towing and can haul an impressive 2,500 kg braked trailer.
